If you said it's the body length and maximum weight of an adult Red Panda (which by the way is an animal native to central China that looks nothing like the Giant Panda, but instead resembles a reddish raccoon or even a fox)...you are correct...sort of!
(Just in case you're wondering how I know so much about the Red Panda, Anna Grace did an oral report on the Red Panda last week! She did a great job, by the way!)
But as you probably guessed, I'm not really going to post about the Red Panda.
No...6.3kg and 64.5cm are the height and weight stats of our little Lily Rose! We got updated info on her this afternoon (for those of you keeping track...yes, Daddy was the one who found yet another very important Lily email and had to call me to let me know!). Not only did we find out that she:
weighs 6.3 kg or 13lbs. 14oz (for we Americans),
is 64.5 cm or 25.4 inches long,
having a head circumference of 42 cm,
and her chest circumference of 40 cm
and is judged to be healthy....
but we also got another picture!!!!!!!!!!!
You may not be able to tell on your computer screen, but the little cutie's tongue is poking out from between her lips! How adorable!
We are SO thrilled and grateful for another glimpse at our little girl! Just last night I was expressing to Kevin how desperately I was longing for an updated height and weight on Lily...and then this afternoon the Lord provided! He is SO good! Can't say that enough...
1 Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits-
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Psalm 103:1-5 (one of my personal favorites!)
Rejoicing again in Him,
